I meant to post this few weeks ago in part to thank Dominique for the list and links to rubrics and blogging/evaluating blogs.

As an adjunct at LAGCC, I was part of a Community 2.0 professional development seminar as a result of which I began dabbling in blogging via Blogger as well as using Google Drive (initially called Google Docs) for formal assignments in my English 101 and 102 courses.

The Community 2.0 blog set up by Prof. Smith and Prof. Gallardo at LaGuardia Community College is a great resource for not only learning about various platforms but a wonderful/rich/and cross-curricular conversation about incorporating on-line platforms in various disciplines (i.e. assignments, grading, rubrics, connecting with other classes/other disciplines) Do check it out http://lagccnetworks.blogspot.com/

One Response to Great blog -Community 2.0 by LAGCC faculty- for all interested in using on-line platforms in their course

  1. Magda–thanks for posting this! I see lots of LAGCC faculty are using ePortfolios, especially Digication. Have you taught with that platform before? Do you think if we had faculty use e-portfolios for WI training they’d pretty easily see the possibilities for using them in their teaching?
